Owen Man Killed in Car vs. Train Accident on Saturday

-An Owen man was killed in a car vs. train accident in Clark County over the weekend.According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, just before 10am on Saturday, they received a call of a car/train accident at the crossing at Berglin Avenue, south of Pine Road near Owen. 87-year-old George Louis, of Owen, had attempted to cross the railroad track when he was struck by the train. Louis was killed in the accident.
The train crew was uninjured and the crash is still under investigation. The State Patrol was assisted by the Owen-Withee Ambulance, Clark County Sheriff’s Office and the Marshfield Fire and Rescue.
