Gun Deer Hunt Concludes Today

Today is the final day of the 2018 Wisconsin 9 day Gun Deer Hunting season.Preliminary harvest totals are in for the opening weekend of the hunt and the numbers statewide look good. The Wisconsin DNR reports that over 118,000 deer were registered in the first 2 days of the season. That is up more than 13 percent from opening weekend last year, despite a decline in hunter registrations this season.
In Clark County just over 3000 deer were harvested during the opening weekend hunt.
