Spencer Girl Dies in Go-Kart Accident

(AP) -A 12-year-old girl that died Saturday as result of go-kart crash has been identified as Madison Pluger of Spencer.Marinette County Sheriff Jerry Sauve says the accident was reported just before 3 p.m. Saturday on private property in the Town of Grover. Authorities say she was visiting her grandmother and family where the accident happened. Authorities said Madison was operating the go-kart when she struck a parked pickup. She suffered shoulder and internal injuries. She was taken to an Oconto hospital. Several hours later, authorities were notified that she had died from complications of internal injuries.
According to her obituary, Madison’s smile could light up a room and she always wanted to help others. Family states she wanted to become a surgeon. And as an organ donor, Madison’s dream of saving lives has now come true. Funeral services are scheduled Tuesday in Clintonville.
