Neillsville School Board Approves Releasing Funds for Last Year's Graduating Class

-The Neillsville School Board approved releasing funds for last year’s graduating class at their meeting on Monday.

The board approved the releasing of funds for the Class of 2018 in the amount of $334.18. The board also approved increasing substitute teacher pay to $110.00 per day, approved the college course applications for second semester as presented and approved a donation of old school newspapers, an annual, and newspaper articles to the school library. Finally, the board approved a donation of $154.81 from the Knights of Columbus for the special education programs and approved updates to the Emergency Response Plan as presented.

In employment mattes, the board approved the resignation of Courtney Becker from her teaching assistant position and the resignation of Becky Short from her Creative Writing advisor position. They also approved Josh Zahl for the C-team boys’ basketball coaching position and for the History Club advisor position. Finally, the board approved Certified Staff Handbook updates as presented and approved the adjusted principal contract for Scott Schiller for the 2018-2019 school year.
