Committee Reports at More at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-It was a relatively quiet night for the Neillsville City Council at their meeting on Tuesday.The council approved the appointment of two Planning Commission Members. They also presented former Mayor Steve Mabie a plaque for his years on the council as the 2nd Ward Alderman and his years as the Mayor. With it being budget season, the council heard several committee reports as the various departments wrap up the budget process. The council heard the Historic Preservation Commission Report from September 27th. They approved pictures for their 2019 historic calendar. They also approved $500 for a resident for painting and $500 for a resident for chimney repairs.
The council also heard the Heritage Days Committee Report from September 26th. They discussed possible new events, setup for next year and the parade for next year. Otherwise, there wasn’t much in the way of new updates for the various topics and activities.
