Abbotsford Residents Evacuated After Gas Leak

-Residents in an area of Abbotsford were evacuated for a gas leak on Wednesday night.According to the Abby-Colby Police Department, a road construction project caused a gas leak at North Fourth Avenue and West Sycamore Street when a three inch line was punctured. Around 7:30pm, people were advised to avoid the area for about 3.5 hours.
No one was injured in the incident and residents were able to return home around 9:45pm. Emergency crews cleared the scene around 10pm.
