Hixton Man Enters Plea for Burglary Charges

A Hixton man involved in multiple burglaries in Jackson and Eau Claire Counties entered a plea to the charges against him.

According to court records, both the Jackson and Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Departments received information and evidence that led them to Jamie Johnson.  A search of Johnson’s apartment provided further evidence and some of the stolen property.

During Johnson’s court appearance, he pleaded guilty to burglary of a building or dwelling.  Several other charges were dismissed and read in.  He’s scheduled for sentencing on August 24th.
