Marshfield Fire Department Responds to House Fire

-The Marshfield Fire Department responded to a house fire started by an exploding computer on Monday afternoon.According to the department, they responded to the home in the 200 block of East 10th Street just before 4pm on Monday. When they arrived, fire was coming out two windows of the home. They were able to quickly extinguish the flames. The owners of the home and their pets were outside when the department arrived.
The damage to the home is estimated at $20,500, due to the fire and smoke damage as well as the water damage from extinguishing the flames.
