Neillsville Fire Department Responds to Boat Fire

-The Neillsville Fire Department responded to a call of a boat fire early Saturday morning.According to the department, they received a call of a boat fire just before 1:10am Saturday morning at W5103 Schofield Road in the Township of Weston. When they arrived, the boat was fully engulfed. The owner had said he was having issues with the boat earlier that day and they believe the fire was electrical.
The department was on scene for 20 minutes, there were no injuries on their part, they received aid from the Clark County Sheriff’s Department and the boat is a total loss.
