Person Arrested After Execution of a Search Warrant in Thorp Appears in Court

-One person arrested after the execution of a search warrant in the City of Thorp appeared in Clark County Court on Thursday.According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Department, the search warrant was conducted on March 13th at 204 N. Thorp St. Found inside the residence were Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and various types of paraphernalia. Two people were arrested in the incident including John Knar and Karin Scott. Knar is charged with several possession charges, bail jumping and more.
During Knar’s preliminary hearing on Thursday, probable cause was found. He’s scheduled for arraignment at the end of September. Scott was sentenced last month to 1 year probation.
