Black River Falls Man Appears in Court for High Speed Chase

-A Black River Falls man arrested for a high speed chase in Eau Claire and Chippewa County appeared in Chippewa County Court on Wednesday.According to the Lake Hallie Police Department, they received reports of a theft at a home. When they arrived, the suspects were in the back yard and fled the scene. The chase went from Lake Hallie to Highway 53 to I-94 and reached speeds of 100 mph.
The vehicle eventually crashed and the suspect was taken into custody. 32-year-old Corey Sprinkle is facing several charges including attempting to flee an officer. Sprinkle admitted to using drugs earlier that day.
