Marshfield Man Sentenced for Threatening a Man with a Gun

-A Marshfield man has been sentenced in Wood County Court for threatening another man with a gun.The incident took place back in January at the home of the victim at 404 West Cleveland Street. According to the Marshfield Police Department, Andrew Netzer threatened the victim while pointing a gun at him. Netzer was arrested at his home and a search discovered the handgun from the incident.
During his plea hearing last week, he was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, a felon in possession of a firearm and endangering safety with a dangerous weapon. Two other charges were dismissed, but read in. Netzer was sentenced to 3 years’ probation with 6 months jail time. He also owes the courts $511.
