Marshfield Man Enters Plea for Threatening a Man with a Gun

-A Marshfield man facing charges for allegedly threatening another man with a gun appeared in Wood County Court on Thursday.The incident took place back in January at the home of the victim at 404 West Cleveland Street. According to the Marshfield Police Department, Andrew Netzer threatened the victim while pointing a gun at him. Netzer was arrested at his home and a search discovered the handgun from the incident. Neter has been charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, reckless endangerment with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.
During his plea hearing on Thursday, he was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, felon in possession of a firearm, endangering safety with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct. Two other charges were dismissed, but read in. A sentencing date hasn’t been set at this time.
