Marshfield Clinic Health System's Notice of Public Hearing on New Neillsville Facility

-On Wednesday, August 1st, the Marshfield Clinic Health System released a formal Notice of Public Hearing.The Notice informs Clark County residents that MCHS will be financing a planned Memorial Medical Center replacement hospital on River Avenue, utilizing 501(c)(3) revenue bonds not to exceed $50,000,000. The public hearing will be held in Brookfield on August 15th at 8am, which is the headquarters of the authority issuing the bonds.
In March of this year the Marshfield Clinic Health System and Memorial Hospital, Inc. signed a letter of intent to provide more accessible quality health care services to the Neillsville community through an affiliation partnership. Terms in that letter of intent included the construction of a new hospital and clinic in Neillsville.
