Granton School Board Hears Administrators' Reports

-The Granton School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.Principal Julie Kolarik updated the board on instructional matters. She shared the teacher schedule for the 2018-2019 school year. Also, the Professional Development Planning Committee completed the scheduled activities for the 2018-19 school year. Superintendent Scott Woodington stated the pool is nearing completion and there will be a ribbon cutting and open swim on August 29th from 6-8pm. Also, the auditor completed his initial audit with the district finishing the year with a balanced budget.
The School Safety Grant was resubmitted with additional information and the district expects to find out the status of the grant very soon. Finally, the Department of Public Instruction notified the district that Granton qualified for the CEP program for the 2018-19 school year. The Community Eligibility Provision provides free breakfast and lunch for all district students.
