Owen Woman Sentenced for Possession

-An Owen woman arrested after the execution of a search warrant in the City of Thorp was sentenced in Clark County Court on Thursday.According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Department, the search warrant was conducted on March 13th at 204 N. Thorp St. Found inside the residence were Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and various types of paraphernalia. Two people were arrested in the incident including John Knar and Karin Scott.
During Scott’s court appearance, she entered a guilty plea to possession of amphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to 1 year probation and she owes the courts $352. Knar will be back in court next month.
