Many Topics Discussed at Clark County Tourism Meeting

-The Clark County Tourism Committee discussed a wide variety of topics at their meeting on Wednesday.The group discussed Clark County’s presence at Farm Technology Days near Marshfield. They received a lot of compliments for their work and Clark County’s presence at Farm Technology Days. They also discussed the Harvest Moon/Fall Tour September through October. The brochures are already printed and ready to go for the event. They also discussed Christmas marketing, ATV trails marketing, marketing for weddings at rustic locations like barns and marketing of the county’s walking and biking trails and the Yellow Stone Trail.
The committee also discussed the upcoming Yellow Ribbon campaign at The Highground on September 22nd. They discussed ways to help with the event and the need for volunteers. Finally, the committee heard about a couple ribbon cuttings in Thorp this Friday and next, the county unemployment numbers and the sales tax numbers.
