Greenwood School Board Hears Administrators' Report

The Greenwood School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.District Administrator Todd Felhofer reported that the district has been awarded a DOJ School Safety and Security Grant. The items to be addressed include a security film on main entrance doors and windows, new classroom door hardware, security film on classroom door windows, security cameras and improved signage. He also stated that the administration will be meeting with SDS, an architectural firm from Eau Claire to review initial concepts for improving main entry security in both schools.
Finally, he mentioned a Public Forum on school security has been scheduled for Wednesday July 25th at 6:30 pm in the high school cafeteria and the cell phone policy change information letter will be sent home soon.
