Clark County USDA Farm Service Agency Holding Open House on Wednesday

-Clark County USDA Farm Service Agency Executive Director, Debra Marg, announced that there will be an open house on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Clark County FSA office located at 4 Boon Boulevard in Neillsville.FSA county office staff will provide information on FSA’s County Committee Election process. County Committees are unique to FSA and allow producers to have a voice on federal farm program implementation at the local level. Elected county committee members are responsible for making decisions on FSA disaster, conservation, commodity and price support programs, as well as other important federal farm program issues. The open house is an opportunity for producers and landowners to visit the FSA office to learn how they can make a difference by participating in the annual election process.
The nomination period for this year’s election is now through August 1. Nomination forms must be postmarked or received in the Clark County FSA Office by close of business on Aug. 1st.
