Semi Fire on I-94 Tuesday Afternoon

-The Black River Falls Fire Department responded to a semi-tractor fire on I-94 Tuesday afternoon.According to the department, the fire occurred just after 1pm on July 3rd in the Township of Millston. When the department arrived the semi-tractor was fully engulfed in flames. The driver of the semi said he heard a pop and saw fire under the hood. He tried to put it out with an extinguisher, but it ran out and the fire grew quickly.
The semi is considered a total loss and the trailer was slightly damaged as well. The department was on scene for 90 minutes.
