Kaitlyn Riley Named 71st Alice In Dairyland

A Crawford County woman has been crowned as Wisconsin's 71st Alice in Dairyland.Kaitlyn Riley from Gays Mills was selected for the title Saturday night at the Adams-Friendship Fine Arts Center in Adams during a finale program hosted by Adams County.
Wisconsinagconnection.com reports that Riley grew up on her family's registered Jersey dairy farm. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she studied strategic communications and broadcast journalism.
Meanwhile, this year's Alice, Crystal Siemers-Peterman, said her reign during the past 12 months has been an experience like no other. Kaitlyn officially begins her duties as Alice on June 4. Until then, Siemers-Peterman will continue to make appearances at various events as her successor goes through a brief training process.
