Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board's New Name, Part 2

-The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board has a new name: Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin.I spoke with Patrick of the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin and he explained how the organization tries to build demand for Wisconsin Dairy Products.
"Everything we do here is about building demand for Wisconsin dairy products, including changing the name of the organization. For example, when we sponsor events designed to, for example, enhance Wisconsin cheese's reputation. We may be sponsoring an event at a culinary event and those are consumers that are consuming Wisconsin cheeses, but they don't know who the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board is. But now that we are Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin, they'll know exactly who we are and who we represent."
Coming up on Tuesday, Patrick will talk about the general response they’ve received regarding the name change.
