Marshfield Teen Arrested for Possession Appears in Wood County Court

-A Marshfield teen arrested after having marijuana delivered to his residence from California appeared in Wood County Court.Back in November, police executed a search warrant at a home on South Maple Avenue in Marshfield. An investigation in conjunction with the U.S. Postal Inspector’s Office determined the package delivered to the home from California contained one pound of marijuana. Two teenagers, Jared Johnsrud and Mathew Badertscher, were arrested.
During Johnsrud’s court appearance on Monday, he waived his preliminary hearing and entered a not guilty plea to the possession charges against him. He’ll be back in court in July. Badertscher will be back in court next month.
