Former Police Chief Found Guilty of Sexual Assault

-Thorp’s former police chief has been found guilty of sexually assaulting a young girl.According to court records, the girl, who was around 6-year-old when the assaults happened, stated that Richard Boie touched her private areas on several occasions. The girl said the assaults happened at Boie’s home.
Boie had a jury trial last week. He was found guilty by the jury and his sentencing hearing is set for July.
