Central Wisconsin State Fair’s “Fairest of the Fair” Named

The Central Wisconsin State Fair’s “Fairest of the Fair” for 2018 is Dahlia Krokstrom. She was chosen by a group of judges this week, during coronation ceremonies held at Hotel Marshfield.According to WDLB Radio, Krokstrom is a senior at Marshfield High School. Her career goal is to become an equine nutritionist. The runner-up in this year’s competition was Kaitlyn Yahnke, who is a senior at Auburndale High School. Kaitlyn will attend Mid-State Technical College, and her career goal is to become a surgical tech. The 2018 Junior Fairest of the Fair is Maria Esser of Pittsville High School. Esser will graduate in 2021.
The Junior Fairest runner-up last night was Rainna Simone of Marshfield High School??"also a member of the class of 2021. The four will reign over the Central Wisconsin State Fair in Marshfield August 21-26.
