Owen-Withee School Board Approves Golf Program

-The Owen-Withee School Board approved having a golf program for the spring of 2019 at their meeting on Monday.The board continued discussion of the golf program. At the March meeting, they approved sponsoring a club team for the spring of 2018. District Administrator Bob Houts investigated the deadline for sponsoring a WIAA approved team and the possible cost of having a full team in 2019. The deadline for applying for a team with the WIAA is June 1st of this year and estimated cost of having a team is under $3000. On a voice vote, the board unanimously approved having a full team in 2019.
Also, Board Vice President, Rick Eloranta, administered the Oath of Office to newly re-elected board members Angela Greschner, Julie Wendler and Paul Heggemeier.
