Presentation Begins Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard a presentation to begin their meeting on Monday.Ms. Rahn was on hand with two students to tell the board about the work of the Goodies Galore project 5th and 6th grade students have been working on. McKinley Klabon and Quinn Hatlestad presented about the school store, what they have done with and what they plan to do with the money they have made. This year’s project is to replace the two basketball hoops on the elementary playground and move them so they are usable year-round and create a basketball court rather than the baskets being side-by-side. McKinley and Quinn did a terrific job with their presentation and answering questions from the board.
The board also reviewed the election results from April 3rd. Results from the general election showed that Angela Greschner, Julie Wendler and Paul Heggemeier were re-elected to three years terms. As the Board Clerk, Angela and the Board of Canvassers met on Thursday, April 5th to verify the vote. Thanks to Angela, Patricia Simenson and Janet Greschner for doing the canvassers duties this year.
