Lyndsey Boon-Brunette Elected as Clark County Judge

-Clark County has voted against the state for Supreme Court Judge.

Rebecca Dallet has won a 10-year term on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, but Clark County voted for Michael Screnock. Screnock received 2,911 votes to over Dallet’s 2,258. Clark County overwhelmingly voted for Lyndsey Boon-Brunette as Clark County Judge over Roberta Heckes, 4,034 to 1,254. The county also voted to keep the State Treasurer position with 2,037 voting to eliminate it and 2,790 voting to keep it. This was in line with the state which also voted to keep it. For the 4th District Court of Appeals, the only candidate running was JoAnne Kloppenburg. She received 3,856 votes in Clark County. For some other contested races, Randy Sebesta won re-election over Rollin Opelt 145 votes to 75. For the Village of Dorchester, 3 out of 4 candidates were elected including Kurt Schowch (80 votes), Justin Duranceau (59 votes), Daniella Schauer (56 votes) over Michael Seubert, 51 votes.

There were a few townships that voted for Marshfield School Board. Of the 5 candidates, the 3 winners in Clark County were Karen Shulman (79 votes), Frances Bohon (72 votes), and Jodi Meyer (60 votes) over Sam Steiner (53 votes) and Mary Carney (52 votes). A couple townships also voted for the Spencer School Board. In Clark County Jordan Buss beat Tom Marcott, 61 votes to 29. A couple townships also voted for the Stanley-Boyd School District. In Clark County, Chad Verbeten beat Lori Cooley 61 votes to 29. They also voted for Ryan Lewallen (62 votes) over Richard Vircks (28 votes).
