Greenwood School Board March Administrators' Reports

The Greenwood School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Tuesday.Elementary Principal Joe Green updated the board on the elementary school Family Literacy Night held on March 6th. The event was well-attended and well-received. Also, a re-cap of the March 16th professional development was provided. Finally, elementary classroom teachers and middle and high school language arts teachers went to a large book warehouse in Madison for classroom library book purchasing.
Athletic Director/Dean of Students Jenny Mayenschein gave an update on athletic programs. Spring sports are underway. The district will continue in the wrestling coop with Neillsville and Loyal. 2018-19 Fall and winter sports schedules are set. Cloverbelt Conference scholar and athletic banquets will be held in early April.
It was also mentioned that Junior Prom is scheduled for April 30th and Graduation 2018 planning is well underway.
