A Presentation and More at the Loyal School Board Meeting

-The Loyal School Board began their meeting on Tuesday with a presentation.Two staff members and three students demonstrated Lego robots that they controlled with an iPad. The board also approved an out-of-state field trip for the NHS and they approved a new wireless system. The district is upgrading their wireless system with a large part being paid for with grant money. The board also reviewed devices for paperless meetings. The district is ordering 11” computers for the board members to make the switch to paperless meetings.
The board also had the second reading of their Energy Efficiency Policy, approved a donation of copies to the Clark County Male Chorus and the discussed a possible upcoming referendum. The referendum is proposed for the November 6th election and it will attempt to maintain the current mill rate.
