Greenwood School Board Approves Field Trips and More

-The Greenwood School Board approved a couple field trips at their meeting on Tuesday.The board approved the FBLA trip to the state competition in April and the 2019 National Honor Society trip to New York City and Washington DC. The board also approved the resignation of Noah Werner as the assistant varsity football coach and they approved two new volunteers. The board also heard from three community members who spoke in regards to school safety and security in light of recent national events.
They also heard from a student was recognized for his work on a Wounded Warrior fundraising activity and they received a presentation on the Battle of the Books with two members of the high school state qualifying team were present.
