Neillsville City Council Hears Several Reports

Thursday, March 15th, 2018 -- 9:24 AM

-The Neillsville City Council heard several reports at their meeting on Tuesday.

The council heard the Public Works Report. The usual amount of work was done in the city including cemetery and parks maintenance, equipment maintenance, snow and ice removal, filling pot holes, maintain street lighting, tree removal and more. Also, the electricity and gas is being disconnected from the various properties in Neillsville that are being demolished. The sewer plant will also be doing some flowing monitoring as they are continuing to treat far more than what’s coming in. The council also heard the Officer’s Report for February.

Finally, the council heard the Heritage Days Report from their meeting on March 8th. They discussed possible new events, bands, sponsorships, Tim’s Toyz, volunteers and additional help, the grand marshalls and more. The council was also going to hear a brief presentation on the agreement between Memorial Medical Center and Marshfield Clinic Health System, but, unfortunately, the representatives were unable to make it.
