Some Clark County ATV/Snowmobile Trails Opening Today

Wednesday, March 7th, 2018 -- 9:05 AM

-Effective today at 5:00 pm, a majority of trails located within Clark County will re-open for Snowmobile and ATV use where designated.

The trails that will remain closed to all traffic include all trails maintained by the Neillsville/Granton Trail Busters, Loyal Sno Angels trails south of Intersection 64, Colby Trail Blazers trail located between Intersection 55 & 57 (use city route to bypass) and GWR Riders & Boomtown Sno Chasers Trail O between Intersection 76 & 78. Trail conditions will vary from poor to good so the Clark County Forestry and Parks Departments encourages users to please ride responsibly. Please expect late season riding conditions as you approach ice crossing. Please note that UTV’s are not allowed on the Clark County ATV Trail system during the winter months, November 1- May 14.

Clark County trails are subject to periodic closure; for updates on recent closures and/or openings please contact the Forestry and Parks Department at 715-743-5140, or visit the county website at www.co.clark.wi.us for more information on our trail system.
