Memorial Medical Center's CEO on Rural Health, Part 11

-President and CEO of Memorial Medical Center, Ryan Neville, spoke with Dr. Bill Auxier of Rural Health Leadership Radio on the importance of rural health.Ryan talked about a great collaboration he didn’t initially foresee.
"I'll give an example, there's a nursing home that's 25 miles away that we partnered with by becoming their medical staff. Now, we never would have considered that if not for the administrator there reaching out and saying 'we need help.' And so we looked at that and said, 'well, it's going to be a burden, but it's also an opportunity to partner outside of what we think partnership is.' Sometimes it just takes one step in that direction."
Coming up on Tuesday, Ryan will talk about what scares him the most in regards to the future of rural health.
