Clark County ATV/Snowmobile Trails Update

Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 -- 10:03 AM

The Clark County Forestry and Parks Department has released an update on the county ATV/snowmobile trails.

Trails maintained by the Neillsville/Granton Trail Busters remain closed. Loyal Sno Angels Trails from intersection 65 South, to Granton, and East, to Wood County & Lindsey, are closed. Thorp Sno Raiders Trail H North of intersection 37 towards Taylor County is also closed. All other Clark County ATV & Snowmobile Trails located on both public and private lands will remain open for designated use at this time.

The Department will be evaluating trails conditions again on Monday morning and any further closures announced at that time will take effect Tuesday morning at 8:00am. Please be aware that some thin spots do exist on the trails but a vast majority of trails still have adequate snow coverage. Please ride responsible and use caution as late season conditions do exist in some areas.

Please note that UTV’s are not allowed on the Clark County ATV Trail system during the winter months (November 1- May 14). Clark County trails are subject to periodic closure; for updates on recent closures and/or openings please contact the Forestry and Parks Department at 715-743-5140, or visit the county website at www.co.clark.wi.us for more information on our trail system.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
