Letter to OWC Fire Department Discussed at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-The Owen-Withee School Board approved a letter to the Owen-Withee-Curtiss Fire Chief after an incident at the school district.After the incidences involving the spraying of tractors in the shop, and visits from the area fire department and sheriff’s department, a letter to the fire department from the board was crafted. The board described their dissatisfaction with how the situation was handled, their concerns and concluded with wanting to continue having good relations with the fire department. District Administrator Bob Houts read the letter aloud to the board and audience after the board had approved it on a voice vote.
Finally, concerns were raised over the performance of some of the district’s staff. The board approved to move the item into the executive session.
