Black River Falls Man Arrested for Possession

-A Black River Falls man was arrested in Independence for possession.According to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department, on January 8th, around 3:15pm, they stopped 24-year-old Jeremy Mayo. A K-9 unit was requested during the stop and alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. After searching the vehicle, 35 grams of meth were recovered.
Mayo was arrested and booked into the Trempealeau County Jail for possession of meth with intent to deliver and probation violations. The incident is still under investigation.
