Primary Needed for Marshfield Mayoral Candidates

(WDLB) -Marshfield voters will need a primary to narrow the field of candidates running for Mayor.Three people filed the necessary paperwork by yesterday’s deadline to get on the ballot. They are current Common Council members Tom Witzel and Rebecca Spiros, and political newcomer Bob McManus. A primary election will be held on February 20th to narrow the field down to two candidates for the April third general election.
Longtime Mayor Chris Meyer is not running for re-election after serving five two-year terms which will end in April.
