Marshfield Man Arrested for Hitting a Squad Car

-A Marshfield man was arrested after crashing into a squad car on Tuesday.According to the Marshfield Police Department, around 3:20pm on Tuesday, they received a call about a distraught 51-year-old man on East Emerald Street. When the man was located, he was in his car and he backed into the squad car and then drove off. Officers chased the man for a few blocks before he crashed the vehicle. He was promptly arrested.
Nobody was hurt in the incident and the department is recommending charges of fleeing an officer, recklessly endangering safety, resisting an officer, OWI and hit and run.
