Employment Matters at Neillsville School Board Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board discussed employment matters at their meeting on Monday.

The board approved the resignation of Gloria Hamm from her teaching assistant position, Jordan Hauge from his teaching assistant position, Ben Perushek from his middle school basketball coaching position and Rebecca Boehning from her middle school softball coaching position. The board also heard the Administrators’ Reports. Elementary Principal Scott Schiller reported on attendance, the elementary holiday concert, a glass art grant awarded to Ms. Plasch, the elementary/middle school conference room and mid-year assessments. High School Principal Craig Anderson reported on attendance, scheduling for the 2018-2019 school year, FFA news, a Student Council blood drive, 6-12th grade music concerts and the activities calendar on the district home page.

Finally, District Administrator John Gaier reported on a thank you card from the American Legion, a letter to the editor, a FAB Lab Grant, a rural and low income school grant program, a lawsuit against State Superintendent Tony Evers, legislative information, an article from Central Wisconsin Broadcasting, an update from the Wisconsin Association for Equity in Funding, a Focus article and a whooping cough update.
