Greenwood School Board Discusses Employment Matters

-The Greenwood School Board discussed employment matters at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the employment of 2 new substitute teachers and 3 new volunteers. They also approved an FFA field trip to a rodeo in Minnesota and a band and choir trip to Chicago. The board approved entering into an agreement with the new owners of the property where the electronic sign is located to pay a monthly fee to defer costs of electricity. The board also approved proceeding with the repairs necessary for the electronic sign. The board approved the policies included in the 26-2 update and they will revisit the WASB resolutions and delegate vote in January.
Finally, the board reviewed the District Priorities and the accountability measures to date and they approved the 2018-2019 school calendar.
