Owen-Withee School Board Summary

The Owen-Withee School Board approved a print contract at their meeting on Monday.Three companies, EO Johnson, Office Enterprises Incorporated and Bauernfeind Business Technologies, submitted proposals for their print service contract. After reviewing the three proposals, administration recommended that the board award the five year contract to EO Johnson. The main reasons for this recommendation are that EO Johnson has their current contract and knows their systems. Also, current hardware can remain in place, minimizing installation and downtime. They had the lowest overall bid on hardware, supplies and service. The board approved awarding the contract to EO Johnson.
The board also discussed mileage reimbursement. Currently, mileage reimbursement for use of a personal vehicle on school business varies between administration/school board at $.40 per mile and staff at $.30.5 per mile. After some discussion about what number to use, the board passed a motion to pay everyone $.40 per mile for use of personal vehicles.
