13th Annual Tea at Tufts’ Coming In March

The 13th Annual Tea at Tufts’ event will be held on Sunday, March 11th of 2018.The theme is “English Country Garden Tea at Tufts” and they’re currently looking for people, individuals or groups, to decorate and set tables. If you would be interested in decorating a table for this event, please contact Lori at the UW-Extension Office (715-743-5122 / [email protected]). Seven tables will be decorated and set for tea. Tables will be judged prior to the tea on Sunday and prizes will be awarded. Reservations for the English Garden Tea at Tufts will be accepted starting February 1st of 2018 and the cost will be $25.00 per person and includes a three course luncheon of sandwiches, scones, sweets, and of course, teas. Also included is a tour Tuft’s Mansion at 12:30 p.m. Seating will start at 1:00 p.m. and lunch will start at 1:15 p.m. Come and experience an elegant tea complete with good conversation, wonderful company and auction items.
The Tea at Tufts’ event is the major fundraiser for the “Parenting the First Year” newsletter which is distributed monthly to new parents and parents of young children in Clark County. This research based UW-Extension newsletter has been distributed for 26 years and is revised by University staff and specialists on a regular basis. The newsletters give parents and caregivers the most up-to-date information on child development and child related topics.
