Granton School Board Hears Administrators' Reports

-The Granton School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.Continuing on, Principal Julie Kolarik stated that three staff members attended the technology conference, they’re in the planning stages to add Parent Education during conferences and she made positive phone calls to parents of middle school student’s successfully taking high school classes. Superintendent Scott Woodington presented the board with an update on the pool and locker room schedule. They received a report from a structure engineer that the pool basin is structurally sound. The pool contractor and asbestos abatement bids are due next week. The first draft of the design from the architect will be available by the end of the week.
He also presented the district’s state report cards to the school board. The MS/HS and District scores increased from 56.8 to 62.7 and 66.6 to 68.2 respectively and the Elementary Score decreased slightly from 75.5 to 74.9.
