Clark County Board of Supervisors Authorize Payment of WI Counties Association Dues

The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved authorizing payment of Wisconsin Counties Association dues at their meeting on Thursday.The amount of the dues for 2018 comes to $6,436. It was approved, with 3 members absent, with 25 voting yes and 1 voting no. The board also unanimously approved authorizing the Forestry and Parks Committee to budget for expended matching funds in order to participate in County Conservation Aids Program for Fish and Wildlife Project. The anticipated revenue is $3,271, money from the state, with the total cost coming to $6,542. The board unanimously approved a resolution approving the committee fund balances for special revenue accounts in 2018. Some examples include public health grant, clean sweep, prevention services, capital projects, debt service, wellness, K-9 program and more.
Finally, the board unanimously approved a resolution approving the 2018 Forestry and Parks Annual Work Plan. All items in the plan were budgeted for. Some highlights include timber harvest, timber sale, reforestation, land acquisition, fish and wildlife, trails, dams, parks/campgrounds/recreation and more.
