Clean Sweep Event In September

The Clark County UW-Extension Office will be holding a Clean Sweep event in September.The event will be held at two locations on September 29th. The first will be in Owen at the County Garage from 8:30am-10:30am. The second will be in Neillsville at the Clark County Fairgrounds from 2pm-5pm. Clean Sweep allows Clark County residents an opportunity to dispose of hazardous chemicals and other item to help protect our surface and groundwater. The program is aimed at collecting hazardous materials from farms and households.
You must be a Clark County resident to participate. You must also pre-register in order to bring your materials to the event. If you are not pre-registered, you will be turned away. You must be pre-registered by September 15th. If you’d like more information or would like to register, you can contact the Clark County UW-Extension Office.
