Greenwood School Approves Donations and More

-The Greenwood School Board accepted a few donations at their meeting on Monday.The board accepted a donation from Gary Waldhart for the purchase of an AED for the Fitness Center, scrapbooking supplies from Becky Kohnert and sponsorships of the “Get Your Color On” Stampede. In employment matters, they accepted the resignation of Jessica Brown. They also approved the employment of Jenny Hafermann as a Middle School Teacher and additional hours for Dolores Horn as an Office Assistant. They also approved the employment of Brad Zimbauer as the JV Coach for Boys Basketball, Trevor Wuetrich as the JV Coach for Girls Basketball, Courtney Mahr as the JV Coach for Volleyball and Jenny Hafermann as the MS Girls Basketball coach.
The board also authorized the district to continue in the health insurance cooperative process, they conducted a first reading of the 25-2 NEOLA policies updates and conducted a first reading of the EDGAR policies updates. Finally, they received an update on current staffing with all positions currently filled. They also discussed possible changes in the Emergency Leave language.
