Granton Village Board Hears Reports

-The Granton Village Board heard a few reports at their meeting last week.The board heard the clerk’s report. The village received a thank you note from the Downer family for the repair of their cemetery stone that had been damaged in the storm this spring. The apartment rent for June and the quarterly utilities were not paid. A certified letter requesting payment will be made before any further action is taken.
They also heard the treasurer’s report. The beginning balance in checking was $94,717.66 and the ending balance $125,189.19. This includes the revenue share of $30,750.86 and computer aid of $68.00. The beginning balance in the money market account was $342,419.57 and the ending balance is $342,623.15.
