Wisconsin FFA Foundation Calls Sumer Golf Outings a Success

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The Wisconsin FFA Foundation is calling its recent summer golf outings a success.Foundation Director John Hromyak says more than $40,000 was raised during its three events held last month throughout the state. Together, there were 220 golfers who participated in the three outings, and were sponsored by nearly 100 area businesses and agricultural organizations.
The proceeds from the combined golf outings contribute to the group's annual fund--which helps sponsor FFA proficiency awards and career development events. It also aids in the state officer team training and leadership training materials.
