Neillsville City Council Discusses a Few Items

-The Neillsville City Council discussed a few items at their meeting on Tuesday.The council discussed the appointment of a new library board member and the appropriation of a FEMA Grant received that will help with costs associated with last September’s flooding. They also heard the Historic Preservation Commission report from their meeting held on July 20th. They discussed a fall event and what could be done. They were looking at October 20th and 21st as the dates for that event.
Finally, they heard the public works report. The usual amount of work was done in the city including cemetery and park maintenance, equipment maintenance, trimming and pruning trees, street sweeping, cleaning storm drains, maintaining street lighting, filling potholes, hauling brush and compost and more.
